The standard used by most fanciers is the top 10% Rule, i.e. loft and bird performance is measured by the number of times their loft or bird(s) place in the top 10% of the competition.
In the pursuit of excellence, MSRL has taken the selection process to a higher plateau, measuring our loft and bird performance at 2% and 5% along with the 10% rule.
Our results from 2004 OBS through 2007 OBS using the Gold Standard are simply amazing. These results are positions won by MSRL. We were limited to a 5 bird clocking rule in 2005 OBS, 2005 YBS and 2006 OBS, making the following results even more impressive.
2% - 179 positions
5% - 310 positions
10% - 560 positions
These results do not include average speeds, Champion Birds, Hall of Fame awards, Digest Awards and One Loft positions.
